Lipper FMI

Lipper FMI is a mutual fund market analysis and research publishing company specialising in all aspects of the European and Asian fund marketplaces. Lipper FMI'’s objectives are to overcome fragmented data and market opacity problems and to share latest insights into marketplace complexities.

Lipper FMI’s products fall into two key areas: data services and publications. The online data services track approximately 45,000 funds monthly, providing asset managers with invaluable trend and market intelligence.

With over 40 years of fund research experience between them, Lipper FMI’s senior management team is completely focused on using this knowledge to support our clients.

Managing Director

              

Mauro Baratta is Managing Director. He has been involved in the research and analysis of the European fund industry for the last 16 years. He started his career working at Lipper and was one of the architects behind the creation of the Global Fund Analyser database. In January 2002 Mauro joined FERI Fund Market Information Ltd (the fore-runner of Lipper FMI) and helped to create and develop SalesWatch and FundFile. Mauro has overall responsibility for Lipper FMI's database services.

Head of Market Research

            

Bella Caridade-Ferreira is Head of Market Research. She has 14 years’ experience in the research and analysis of the asset management industry. Before joining FERI FMI in 2001, she worked for a London-based investment consulting firm where she specialised in market entry strategies for retail and institutional asset managers. Prior to that she worked for a major international investment bank. Bella has overall responsibility for Lipper FMI’s research, editorial content and publications





Head of Consulting


Ed Moisson is Head of consulting. He joined Lipper FMI in 2007, having worked for Lipper and Fitzrovia since 1999. His primary responsibility is the provision of customised analysis to fund companies for product development and the monitoring of investors’ interests, most notably in the area of fees and expenses. Over ten years Ed has spoken at more than 40 industry conferences and participated in the European Commission’s UCITS Contact Committee, IOSCO’s Committee on Investment Management and CESR’s KID drafting group.
